65 Business Anniversary
Orrco celebrated its 65th anniversary with the entire Orrco family at a Christmas party in December of 2011. Retired employees were invited back to reminisce and enjoy an evening with current employees.
Orrco acquires a new Index C200
Twin Spindle, 3 Turret Turning Center
Over the years, Orrco has had great success with machines of the Index C200 line, and this acquisition allows us to increase production capabilities while maintaining complete familiarity with the new equipment among our production personnel.
The modular nature of Index turning centers allows the machine to be configured to meet the precise needs of individual clients, reliably turning complex parts with secondary forming such as drilling and tapped cross cutting all performed on the same machine.
- Main and counter spindle are identical for complete machining
- Simultaneous machining at the main and counter spindles reduces cycle time
- Time saving, easy to use tool measuring on the machine
- Inclined, off-center drilling and milling capable with Y/B-axis option
Legendary durability leads to cost savings
Index's C200 line is known for its durability. After many years of heavy
use, C200 turning centers can still look brand new and perform like
they did on the day they were installed.
This is good news for Orrco customers, in that maintaining an infrastructure of reliable production equipment helps us improve quality and lower costs. Both quality and costs are further enhanced by the reduced time in provisioning and training necessary because our production team is already intimately familiar with work on the Index C200 line.
